Succede tutto in tribunale a Verona, dove in questi mesi sta andando in scena un processo che sembra un film. Da una parte c’è l’imputato, Ricardo T. G., piastrellista brasiliano trapiantato in Italia sei anni fa con moglie e due figli; dall’altra Christian C. e Giovanni S., il primo muratore bresciano, il secondo tinteggiatore e custode di una villa a Bardolino, sul lago di Garda. Tre amici diventati nemici giurati. Il motivo? Un biglietto del Gratta e vinci. Uno di quelli che sognano tutti perché ti possono cambiare la vita: 2 milioni di euro. A venderlo, il 22 febbraio di due anni fa, è stato un tabaccaio del centro di Garda, sulla sponda veneta del lago. Chi l’abbia acquistato, esattamente, non si sa. «L’ho preso io e la vincita è solo mia», sostiene il piastrellista che due giorni dopo l’aveva portato in banca per l’incasso pensando già alla spiaggia di Copacabana. «Falsità, abbiamo comprato insieme sei tagliandi, 40 euro a testa, la vincita va divisa per tre», sono insorti Christian e Giovanni che hanno urlato al tradimento e sono passati subito al contrattacco querelandolo per appropriazione indebita. Con la conseguenza concreta che la Procura ha disposto il sequestro del superpremio, per l’esattezza 1,6 milioni (due milioni meno le tasse), in attesa che la giudice di Verona, Sabrina Miceli, si pronunci (la sentenza è prevista in giugno). Nel frattempo, davanti a lei sfilano i testimoni (il tabaccaio, che non ricorda, i colleghi di lavoro, i familiari) e pure l’imputato. Il quale, di se stesso, parla in questo modo: «Io gioco forte, punto anche tre volte al giorno e non vado mai in perdita… seguo le statistiche e i sistemi di Lottomatica, mi informo sui posti dove si vince dai mille euro in su, così faccio i miei calcoli, ho la mia strategia, che però non voglio dire a nessuno…». E quale strategia potrà mai esserci dietro un Gratta e vinci? Qual è il segreto della fortuna sfacciata di Ricardo? Un sospetto era venuto al Nucleo di polizia valutaria di Roma, anche perché, storia nella storia, un paio di settimane prima dell’invidiabile vincita l’imputato ne aveva azzeccata un’altra: un milione di euro (800 al netto delle imposte) grazie a un biglietto comprato in una tabaccheria di Modena. Possibile tanta buona sorte? Il pm Alberto Sergi ci ha voluto vedere chiaro, ha aperto un fascicolo per truffa, ha bloccato anche quella somma, la Guardia di Finanza ha indagato. «Ma non abbiamo trovato nulla», allarga oggi le braccia il procuratore di Verona, Raffaele Tito, che ha già archiviato l’indagine e dissequestrato gli 800 mila euro.
