Ousmane Sylla, originario della Guinea, è stato trovato impiccato con un lenzuolo a una grata intorno alle 6 di questa mattina. Era arrivato a Roma il 27 gennaio. Si è impiccato a una delle sbarre che chiudono i settori. Ma prima ha voluto lasciare un messaggio, una sorta di testamento. Ha scritto sul muro il suo nome, il suo cognome, il suo villaggio di provenienza. E una preghiera: “Per favore, riportate il mio corpo in Africa, mi manca tantissimo il mio Paese, mi manca tantissimo mia madre. Le forze dell’ordine non capiscono nulla, nemmeno la mia lingua. Non ne posso più, voglio solo che la mia anima riposi in pace”. Poco dopo sono scoppiati i disordini. Alcuni ospiti hanno sfondato due grate di ferro all’ingresso della parte anteriore del centro; nella parte posteriore, invece, hanno cercato di sfondare una porta di ferro. Gli stessi poi hanno tentato di incendiare una macchina coi colori di istituto che si trovava fuori, a chiudere la porta di ferro. Hanno cominciato a lanciare pietre contro il personale dipendente, la polizia ha risposto con alcuni lacrimogeni. Due carabinieri e un militare dell’Esercito sono rimasti feriti nei disordini. I carabinieri sono stati medicati sul posto mentre il militare dell’esercito è stato trasportato in ospedale in codice giallo. Secondo quanto si apprende, sono stati circa sessanta gli ospiti della struttura ad aver partecipato alle proteste scoppiate dopo il suicidio di Ousmane Sylla. Il 22enne, come emerso dai primi accertamenti, era arrivato a Ponte Galeria pochi giorni fa dopo l’incendio del cpr di Trapani Milio dello scorso 22 gennaio. “Ousmane era triste, voleva tornare in Africa. Sentiva la nostalgia e piangeva spesso”, raccontano gli operatori all’interno della struttura. Il giovane avrebbe dovuto ricevere terapie per contrastare l’epilessia, ma dal suo arrivo a Ponte Galeria non avrebbe mai richiesto i farmaci a lui riservati. “L’ennesima morte nel Cpr di Ponte Galeria, a Roma” ha commentato la senatrice Ilaria Cucchi (Avs), vicepresidente della Commissione Giustizia di Palazzo Madama. “Mesi fa feci un esposto alla procura di Roma, proprio su quella struttura, dopo averla visitata con una telecamera nascosta – ha aggiunto -. Depositai l’esposto e le immagini video sulle condizioni del centro che avevo raccolto. Venni poi ascoltata dal magistrato e non ho ebbi più notizie. Invito la procura di Roma a fare chiarezza su quanto avvenuto questa notte e in generale sulle condizioni di vita in quel Cpr. Perché queste morti non devono più accadere”.
