Nella circostanza, racconta la coppia, mentre i due erano impegnati in una conversazione che aveva suscitato la loro ilarità, il 47enne – che era vicino – l’avrebbe invece inadeguatamente interpretata come una derisione nei suoi confronti. A quel punto, indispettito, si sarebbe avvicinato al mezzo chiedendo conto di quelle risate. La coppia, in macchina, intuendo intenzioni poco pacifiche, avrebbero cercato di spiegare che in alcun modo il loro fosse un atteggiamento rivolto a lui ma non è bastato. L’individuo all’improvviso tirò pugno violento all’uomo che era al posto di guida. Il gesto provocò la reazione di difesa della donna che, scesa dall’auto mentre il compagno stava chiamando le forze dell’ordine, cercava di allontanare l’aggressore, rimediando però la risposta violenta dell’uomo che, prendendola per un braccio, le fece battere il volto contro uno sportello. Poi fuggì.
